What is Project Management?

Project management is the entirety of activities to be carried out to ensure that multiple stages are concluded in accordance with the desired purpose within a specified timeframe.

There is no single method for carrying out project management.Variables such as the scope of the work, its complexity, the number of experts to be involved, etc., determine the methods and methodologies. Many statistical methods are used depending on the scope of the project.

Why are projects needed? In the broadest sense, it is to eliminate the problems we are experiencing and prevent their recurrence. The differences between our current situation and the targeted situation are our problems. Therefore, the target of the project is problems.

Projects cannot be completed if direct costs are not sufficiently examined, indirect costs are ignored and not quantified, the benefit to be gained is not evaluated/measured, and cash flow is not assessed.

Responsibility… Authority… Communication… Coordination are indispensable steps of project management.
